RC GIVE BACK 2023
RC @ PEDAL FOR THE FUTURE/COMMUNITY DAY
Sept 2023 - Once again, the Pennsylvania State Police, first responders, and medical providers of Northampton County presented bikes and helmets to a children in need! A total of 23 bicycles were donated and number of kids from the public were also to participate. The entire event, including the bike safety and bike riding, was open to the public this year! The kids including RC volunteers and organizers were able to go on a ride with the kids right after they received instruction on bicycle safety and first aid. Coalition for Appropriate Transportation also provided bike check services. Rayan’s Crayons was able to participate by providing entertainments, games, and music for the kids! Can’t wait wait for next year!

June/July 2023 - Annually, Rayan’s Crayons has been committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals battling illnesses in hospitals. We have successfully continued our mission of sending therapy items to Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital & Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, providing comfort and support to those in need. From plush toys that bring smiles to children's faces to soothing sensory tools aiding in relaxation, our shipments have aimed to alleviate the stress and anxiety often associated with hospital stays. With each passing year, our resolve to serve grows stronger as we witness the positive impact these therapeutic items have on patients and their families. As we look to the future, we remain committed to extending our reach and making a difference in the lives of many more children!

Summer 2023 - The YW C.H.A.M.P.S. Program primarily focuses on physical activity, stress reduction techniques, and healthy nutrition with goal to increase students’ knowledge and attitudes about movement and healthy eating. This program will continue to serve as it was, but now will be adapted to meet the needs of students of all ages and abilities!
Once again, we were able to help collaborate and help pilot this program for elementary & middle school Life Skills students at Fleetwood Area School District for 2023!

2023 - The "Rayan and Friends" program stands as a beacon of compassion and solace for children bravely battling cancer. Founded with the intention of bringing joy and support to these courageous young souls, the program is a symbol of hope and solidarity for those facing the challenges of this formidable illness. Through thoughtful gestures and heartfelt gifts, "Rayan and Friends" sends a ray of sunshine into the lives of these resilient children, aiming to uplift their spirits during the most trying times. Each gift package is meticulously crafted to cater to the unique needs and preferences of the recipients, offering a blend of comfort items, educational toys, and inspiring messages. We ask the child’s “like, love, and out-of-this-world” gifts they desire and do our best to provide them with the best! The program's unwavering commitment to spreading smiles and encouragement among these young warriors has fostered a sense of community and camaraderie, reminding each child that they are cherished and supported in their fight against cancer.

WINTER DRIVE COLLAB
Dec 2022 - Yet another successful Winter Collab with Project Hope of Easton! With over 425 kids and hundreds of adults - families were provided with coats, groceries, gifts, fresh meals, and toys! And this time our volunteers made this happen with wintery snowy mix conditions - that was not easy so a special shoutout to them!

RC was able to gift smiles to children at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia & Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital again this year! This program aims to help provide and maintain necessary tools for pediatric patients (outpatient and inpatient) to survive mentally and emotionally. Therefore, leading to overall increased strength and immune response and potential better medical outcome. Rayan's Crayons was able to provide material for art therapy, music therapy, and play therapy! These examples of complementary therapies help children cope with challenges they face while battling their own illnesses as well as many other specific benefits - bringing them closer to recovery bit by bit!

“DAY OF HOPE”
June 2022 - As the pandemic has caused a massive increase in mental health problems, you find almost everyone is struggling more than they have before. Many have had to pivot from their pre pandemic life to even worse conditions. And the effect this has had on the children is still unknown. With all the chaos happening in this world, RC & Project Hope of Easton wanted to provide families in need with a day full of fun and hope to destress from their normal routines this year in place of our annual Spring Drive. The organizers from the Paxinosa school district and two local women’s shelters were grateful for this opportunity. A night and experience they will never forget and forever cherish!

RAYAN’S CRAYONS EXTRAORDINARY STUDENT AWARD 2022
May 2022 - Rayan’s Crayons Extraordinary Student Award was created to honor a student who exemplified all that Rayan stood for. This year’s recipient could not be more deserving. This student goes above and beyond to look out for all of his peers, especially those who need someone to believe in them. He has come so far in 4 years and matured so much that it is hard to believe he is the same young man he entered middle school as. My favorite attribute of this young man has to be his love and passion for the best team in baseball, the New York Mets! This years’ winner of Rayan’s Crayons Extraordinary Student Award is none other than Connor Polk. You have made us so proud over the past four years and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for you!

WINTER DRIVE
Dec 2021 - We had the wonderful opportunity to team up with Project Hope of Easton again this winter! Groceries, hot food, coats, hats, gloves, clothes, toys, and more given out to over 100 people! We also had items left that we were able to distribute to tons of individuals outside of the event. Look forward to working with them again next year!
CARS 4 KIDS
Nov 2021 - Our very own local youth organization started by on of our volunteers, MYLV, hosted a Cars 4 Kids car show and fundraiser and RC was able to support and attend as well as provide games and food for the kids! Over 60+ cars, along with first responder agencies attended. This event fundraised for RC with which we were able to add to our future give backs!

RC DALLAS & NORTH TEXAS FOOD BANK - FOOD 4 KIDS
March 2021 - As COVID-19 took hold in North Texas, HUNGER thrust into the spotlight, and people started to realize the impact of school closures beyond the obvious threat to education. Many children from food-insecure homes do not look forward to school breaks because long breaks from class often mean long breaks from nutritious meals. Being food insecure means that you don’t always know where your next meal will come from. Rayan’s Crayons was able to work with North Texas Food Bank - Food 4 Kids Backpack program to help provide meals to children in need. We raised $350+ and the RC Dallas team assisted with packing, sorting, and shipping backpacks.
RC COVID-19 RELIEF PROGRAM
Jan 2021 - Being a non-profit organization for children, we have realized the effect COVID-related elderly mortality has on the youth. There are children who rely heavily on grandparents for support - emotionally, behavioral, and financially to name a few. "For these grandfamilies, COVID-19 puts them at a greater risk for catastrophic health issues leading to unstable and fractured family units." RC was able to support these children in keeping their grandparents healthy and having the best chance at fighting the virus through early detection of silent hypoxia (leading to COVID-19 pneumonia) by giving them a vital tool for oxygen saturation monitoring --> Pulse oximeters. With the help of our donors and supporters, we were able to raise 108% of our goal and distribute over 100+ pulse oximeters!

ZOOM THROUGH THE SPEED FORCE VIRTUAL 5K RUN 2020
RC STEPS UP.
Every $20 donation or $20 registration fee for our Virtual FLASH Run enabled us to send a “Flashtime” gift bag full of goodies (including tablets, basic school supplies, outdoor activities/toys, snacks, and much more) to children in need while quarantined. We worked with school districts, women’s shelters, Family Connection, Project Hope of Easton, 3rd Street Alliance, and other organizations to identify these kids whose days YOU helped brighten during this chaotic time.

Jun 2020 - Rayan's Crayons teamed up with Project Hope of Easton, Family Connection, 3rd St Alliance, multiple school districts, and other women's shelters to help support children and their families during this COVID-19 crisis. We were able to provide groceries with fresh produce, our Flashtime gift bags full of school supplies, snacks, games, coloring books, goodies for fun at home, and a TABLET, @projecthopeofeaston Summer Clothing Bags, and balloons. We provided for over 70 families and over 100 kids!
RAYAN’S CRAYONS OPENS RC TEXAS CHAPTER
EXCITING 2020 Announcement y’all: RAYAN’S CRAYONS EXPANDS TO TEXAS
With the help of our wonderful volunteers, we were able to expand our smile gifting to DALLAS, TEXAS. As we are in works of registering our non-profit - our amazing RC Dallas team was able to start the giving. On 6/12/2020, YOU (yes you =)), with the help of our volunteers, were able to give back to the children of the refugee families working with “Save Masks Save Docs.” While they gave back to the community by providing the proper PPE during this pandemic, we gave back to them - 30 kids and 13 families!

RC & PROJECT HOPE COLLAB GIVE BACK
Dec 2020 - Rayan's Crayons teamed up with Project Hope of Easton once again to support families during this COVID-19 crisis. This time we were able to assist in handing out winter clothes, fresh meals, grocery bags, and toys to OVER 750 individuals! We were also able to donate fresh meals and dry grocery items to the local first responders! We were blessed to have this opportunity to team up with Project Hope of Easton during the holidays and look forward to our work together!

Rayan’s Crayons Festivities
Aug 2019 - This event took place for the local refugee families and children for their holiday. The first time we hosted something like this, Rayan’s Crayons was just a new project at the time. Rayan fundraised for this event during his battle with his sickness and was able to personally hand out the gifts to the precious children. This year, we continued his legacy. We were able to gift these children not only toys but provide them with food, dessert, chocolate pizzas, and tickets to a local baseball game to enjoy on their holiday. We plan on doing this annually for the same holiday and hope to expand to other refugee families and children in need throughout. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
July 2019 - Gifting smiles to children at Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia battling their own illnesses with bravery. CHOP was there to support and help Rayan while he battled his brain tumor. The faculty and staff became a vital part of his life. Therefore, our first act of giving to children battling their own illnesses took place at CHOP. The staff was overwhelmed by the amount and quality of the gifts as well as the presentation. They not only were able to provide these gifts to the patients directly, but they also raffled off some of the bigger items to celebrate holidays in July. “One of the kids who received a Kindle Fire from the raffle, shrieked with excitement when they gave it to her,” said CHOP staff. We plan to make this an annual project at different hospitals or facilities every year. We cannot do this without your support!

Those extraordinary yet ordinary qualities that are overlooked by most - being kind, caring, being there for people in a heartbeat, loving those who are in the most need of love... those qualities that might be hard to push through when we live in a world where they may be seen as "uncool." But in our eyes, you are the coolest kid on the block!
